Our Mission

 

Mental Health America of Northeast Florida provides leadership and raises awareness of mental health needs in Northeast Florida and advocates for the mentally ill. MHA is dedicated to improving the mental health of residents and serving as a bridge for those seeking mental health information and services through community collaboration. 

Our Vision

 

Mental Health America of Northeast Florida envisions a just, humane and healthy society which recognizes that mental illness is as treatable as other illnesses and thus all people are accorded respect, dignity and the opportunity to achieve their full potential free from stigma and prejudice. This community will be strengthened by achieving victory over mental illness through advocacy, research, education and outreach.

 

Mental Health America of Northeast Florida (MHA) provides information and programs that promote mental health and support recovery from mental illnesses. When mental illness affects you or someone you know or love, MHA is here to provide you with the most up-to-date information, programs, and services that better inform and provide support for you and other members of our community.
